I’m the current Mayor of Morgan Hill, California, and former President/CEO of the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce. I served as the Executive Director of the Silicon Valley Coalition of Chambers (15 chambers of commerce) as well as having served as an Associate Pastor at a local church 12 years prior to that. What I’ve learned is that everyone is a leader no matter your role in life. As John Maxwell says, “Leadership is influence.” At different times, we all apply the principles “influence” for various reasons and for various outcomes.
